The Grant Guidelines for the National Intelligence Discovery Grants (NIDG) program for funding commencing in 2025 are now available on GrantConnect.

The NIDG program was formerly known as the National Intelligence and Security Discovery Research Grants (NISDRG) program. The program has been renamed in 2024 to reflect a refined focus on Intelligence Challenges.

Note the Intelligence Challenges have been updated for funding commencing in 2025 and applicable research fields within each Challenge have also been revised or expanded.

The Forecast Opportunity and supporting documentation can be found on GrantConnect:

Please note, while the Grant Guidelines are available to view, you will need to register with GrantConnect to access all documentation.*

Expression of Interest (EOI) applications for the NIDG for funding commencing in 2025 (Grant Opportunity) will open in the ONI’s Research Management System (RMS) on 26 August 2024. Other key dates for the NIDG program have been updated on the Research Grants website.
